What is a lash lift and tint?

A lash lift mimics the effect of an eyelash curler. It makes your lashes curl upwards, leaving your them looking longer and your eyes more open and bright. A deep black or blue black tint is recommended to enhance your eyes even more. No extensions are used, only your natural lashes.

How long does a lash lift and tint last?

A lash lift can last anywhere between 6–8 weeks. Results may vary from client to client depending on their lash growth cycle. The tint lasts around 3–4 weeks.

What does maintenance look like for a lash lift and tint?

Maintain the curl of your lash lift with a follow up treatment every 6–8 weeks. A lash tint can be refreshed if necessary halfway through the life of your lift (approximately 3–4 weeks) to re-darken your lashes.

How long will the lash lift appointment take?

The appointment takes an hour to an hour and a half, give or take. It depends on the health of your lashes, how coarse your eyelashes are, and if you lashes will be tinted.

Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?

Yes, but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara, but if you wish to add volume, I’d recommend a non-waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascaras can be harsh and weaken the lift.

How do I know if I’m a good candidate?

An ideal candidate for a lash lift is someone who has healthy and strong lashes. A contraindication checklist will be sent before your appointment to ensure you’re good to go before your appointment.

What are the aftercare instructions?

Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours. This means you will need to avoid showering, swimming, sweating, makeup, and no oil-based products for 24 hours. You will need to brush your lashes and use a moisturizer on your lashes daily after the 24 hours. Aftercare will be sent via email after appointment.

Can I decide how curled and lifted my lashes will be?

Yes! There are different shield sizes for all different lash lengths. Whether you’d prefer a more natural lift, or a more dramatic lift, there are a variety of options for you to choose from.

Does the lash lift procedure hurt?

No, the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment, and although it may feel a little bit strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.
